Burning Man

It's been almost two months since I went to my very first burn.  It was one truly awesome experience.  It was crazy and exciting and crazy and amazing and yeah crazy.  It's one of those things that maybe you don't get to experience again, not because it won't happen again, but because it might not be as crazy the second time around, and you just don't want to ruin it.

As taking pictures goes, this is the place.  The desert, the people, the atmosphere, the art, everything is just perfect.  I've tried using a Lomo Sprocket Rocket film camera, which takes the artsy kind of shots I love, but not having used anything like this before, only two pictures came out.  But it's quality, not quantity that counts, right?

Luckily I wasn't the only one taking pictures, so there's lots of them out there.  Here are a few pictures Denis took that I particularly like.  Denis, you're awesome!

And here are a few more pictures that are just too awesome not to share.  See more here.

Today the world is gold

And so are my nails.  With yellow tights to match!  Because I refuse to let the weather outside bring me down.

I love these...

I just got a new laptop and I've been looking for wallpapers.  I think I've found the best there are.  How ridiculously cute are these?

New York, oh how I miss you

A year ago I left New York for sunny sunny California.  Although right now you wouldn't say that looking out the window.  It's freezing, cloudy and foggy.  But I'm digressing.  It was sad and exciting at the same time.  And so I won't remember the sad times, here are some pictures from my goodbye party, just before I left.  We really did have a great time!

I want...

... this awesome new bag I just happened to find today.  All the colors are so cool.  It's going straight to my wish list, right below the cartwheeling robot.

Riding pretty

For the longest time I've wanted to get a bike, but all the bikes I looked at were, well, nothing special.  But one day, on my way to work, I saw two Republic bikes chained together to a tree, and I fell in love.  It was fate, I swear!  And now, I've got one of my own.  With a pink helmet to match.

Coffee coffee coffee

I like coffee.  A lot.  But sometimes I wonder if I really just like coffee, or I like better what I can do with it.  I think it's both.  Except for the last one, these are all my little babies.
